6. Do I need to raise my own money?

Yes & No. Trusting God is a big part of mission, but you may need to contribute to some degree, depending on how long you are going & who with! If you are going on a short term 2-4 week mission trip you will usually be asked to raise your own funds. If you are going for a longer term you will usually be required to establish a team of supporters who will financially partner with you. A budget is usually set out so you can see what your target amount is & where all the money goes! Talk to your mission agency about this one when the time is right.
